Celebrating 30 Years of Saving Lives!

Second Chance Animal Rescue is celebrating 30 years of saving animals’ lives and giving them a Second Chance at a wonderful life. We could not have reached this milestone without the help of our volunteers, adopters, and donors.

Besides the animals we take into our program, we also provide a much-needed service to help low-income people spay or neuter and vaccinate their animals. We also provide funds to various outreach dog and cat spay and neuter clinics to help reduce the number of unwanted litters in Minnesota.

Second Chance does not have a facility, and we do not have any paid staff. We place all our rescued dogs and cats in temporary volunteer foster homes until they are adopted into permanent loving homes. We are always in need of more foster care volunteers.
